Dutch Billionaire Sues Facebook Over Fake Ads

Dutch billionaire John de Mol, the businessman who created the “Big Brother” reality television program has filed a lawsuit against Facebook for using his name and image in fake ads.[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]De Mol’s lawyers told an Amsterdam District Court judge that facebook Inc. had failed to prevent the ads and had not responded in a timely fashion to complaints.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]The ads encouraged people to participate in fake cryptocurrency-related businesses allegedly backed by De Mol.
