Komodo Hacks Itself to Save Users’ Funds Worth $13M

Crypto wallet provider Komodo has hacked its Agama wallet after discovering of its security vulnerability to prevent real scam of users, the company said in a blog post on June 5.[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Realizing the risk of hacking Komodo’s team used the same exploit to move compromised crypto to safety. “We were able to sweep around 8 million KMD and 96 BTC from these vulnerable wallets, which otherwise would have been easy pickings for the attacker,” Komodo explained. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]At current market rates, they successfully shielded  from a hack funds worth $13 million. The crypto is now being held in two safe wallets, and owners are now being invited to reclaim their assets if their accounts have been swept.
